Many attend Clearlake reunion

Although some who planned to attend the reunion didnít make it due to rainy weather and possibility of high water or extremely muddy roads between them and Clearlake, there was a good attendance at the 6th Clearlake School Reunion May 23, 2015 with 39 enjoying the day and again an abundance of wonderful food, memories, pictures, and stories.

Marjory Norris shared the Clearlake School song which was written by Prudence Nicholson when she taught at Clearlake:

Out upon the rolling prairie mounted upon high

Stands the dear old Clearlake school house

Swing its banner high.

Shout the anthem, roll it onward

Sound it firm and right

Swing aloft the grand old colors, green and the white.

In our earnest search for learning

We shall ever strive

To advance in greater learning

Is our greatest pride

Shout the anthem, roll it onward

Sound it firm and true

Hail to every son and daughter

Hail to CLEARLAKE SCHOOL.
